Maksym Kuznetsov joined the investment team of Horizon Capital in July 2018 and was promoted to Investment Director in January 2020. At Horizon Capital, Maksym is focused on exploring new opportunities and managing existing portfolio in the IT and financial services sectors across Ukraine and Moldova.

Before joining the fund, Maksym was an Associate with TA Ventures, where he worked on venture capital investments across Europe and the US. Prior to that, Maksym worked at Corporate Development team of Aegon, exploring M&A opportunities in insurance and banking sectors in the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Maksym holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Kyiv National Economic University and a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management.
