Denis Tafintsev is Senior Partner and a member of the Investment Committee, joining Horizon Capital in 2010. At Horizon Capital, Mr. Tafintsev is active in sourcing, executing, structuring, adding value and exiting investments.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tafintsev worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company. He focused on banking, manufacturing and mining, and his projects included strategy, sales and marketing, operational improvements and throughput optimization. Previously, Mr. Tafintsev explored various entrepreneurial opportunities and worked in the tax department of Ernst & Young.

Mr. Tafintsev holds MS degree from Humboldt University of Berlin and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate Business School.
