Horizon Capital is pleased to announce that Dmytro Boroday has been promoted to Partner, effective January 1, 2023. Dmytro’s promotion is notable in that he is the first in Horizon Capital’s history who started with the firm as an analyst and grew all the way to becoming a Partner.

Dmytro’s career at Horizon Capital began twelve years ago, when he joined the firm as an Investment Analyst. In 2012, Dmytro went to pursue his MBA degree at Harvard Business School and re-joined Horizon Capital as Investment Director in 2016 after completing his MBA and gaining extensive consulting experience at McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Dmytro was focused on projects in strategy, cost-cutting, and corporate finance for private and public sectors clients in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Over the years, Dmytro led deals, secured new financing rounds, and made significant value-add contributions to Horizon Capital’s portfolio. Dmytro has established himself as an efficient deal maker by participating in several new deals for the fund in consumer internet and B2B SaaS sectors, leading successful equity and debt raising transactions, and driving strategic value-add projects at Horizon Capital portfolio companies.

Dmytro holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and degrees in International Economics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
