Horizon Capital is delighted to announce the promotion of Denys Sychkov to the role of Principal, effective April 15, 2024. This promotion reaffirms our vision for leadership standards and organizational development.

Denys joined Horizon Capital in June 2019 and has made invaluable contributions to our success since the first day. The successful start of his investment career was built on his prior work experience as an audit manager at PwC and a management consultant at McKinsey, where Denys gained broad sectoral expertise and was focused on operational excellence, strategy, cost optimization and transformation projects in Ukraine and the European Union.
Over the years, Denys independently managed value-add projects and made significant contributions to portfolio companies like Ajax, Rozetka, Genesis, Datagroup-Volia, Dobrobut and Purcari. His leadership skills were also evident in such companies as Preply and Viseven.
Denys holds an ACCA qualification and an MA degree in International Economics from Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade. He is an alumnus of the AIESEC and FLEX Program from the US Department of State; he is also a former winner of multiple debate tournaments.
